Happy New Year As we bid adieu to 2017, let us look back at another successful year at Upper Noe. Our program schedule has remained robust and well attended. We served more visitors than ever in every corner of the park. From youth baseball to tennis lessons, Junior Warriors basketball to birthday parties, late night basketball rentals to casual hoops on the blacktop, or just kicking back on the playground or dog run, there is something for everyone. Everyone should feel welcome, well served and safe here. Street. Our gardens rebounded from the drought with care from our volunteers and gardeners. Interior walls got a new coat of paint and floors were refinished. Recently, the playground tot swings were upgraded with new bucket seats. With steady attention and advocacy, Upper Noe has remained a lovely park. The goal has been to end a cycle of degradation and renovation and lobby for constant maintenance to keep it attractive and in good shape. Many small endeavors that keep the sparkle on the park do not get the same attention from the public as a major renewal but take just as much effort to promote. On our list this year is a resurfacing of exterior courts, new sand for the playground, and fresh gravel for Joby’s Run dog park. Please help to keep this jewel of a community center vibrant.
