Friends of Upper Noe Recreation Center is thrilled that Mayor Lurie has secured donations in excess of $2M to restore funds to park groups, like ours, who lost everything in the Parks Alliance collapse. Friends is also working with those groups to reorganize an alliance or collective, with fiscal sponsorship, so that we can get back to supporting events and park projects. Much thanks to Upper Noe staff for jumping in and hosting Upper Noe Block Party 2025 this year when it looked like it wouldn’t be able to happen.
