Spring cleaning requires the building’s closure from March 29 through April 6. Outside activities are not affected.
Upper Noe Gardening Group held its second Community Gardening Day on March 21, caring for and planting California native plants in the park’s Native Plant Garden along Sanchez Street near Day. Spring Session runs through May 30 with lots of invigorating sports and activities. Coed Wrestling, Coed Boxing, and Women’s Boxing Fundamentals proved so popular during winter that they have been continued through spring. New free activities include Tweens/Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Basketball. Spectators are welcome to view the exciting action of Girls League Volleyball games on Saturday afternoons.
Summer Day Camp General Registration opened March 21st and could still have openings. Upper Noe will host nine one-week sessions from 9am to 3pm on weekdays between June 8 and August 14: Girls Play Sports Camp for 5 to 12 year-olds and Upper Noe Sports Camp for 9 to 14 year-olds.
