Our 2022 season has concluded. The 2023 season will open in April. Join us then for free, family-friendly live musical performances in the playground on Saturday mornings.

Upper Noe Block Party 2022 – Sept 24
Over 400 neighbors gather with local schools, organizations, volunteer groups, businesses and more for an admission-free party featuring live music by Lunarville, dance, demonstrations, food, children’s activities and activities for all ages. This was a fun-filled day that strengthened community connections.

Upper Noe Block Party 2019 –  Sept 28

was great fun and a resounding success. Hundreds of neighbors came together with Upper Noe merchants, schools, associations, city agencies and esteemed public officials for an afternoon of fun activities, music and treats. See photos

Ten Together – Upper Noe Block Party (Sept 15, 2018)
Winner of the 11th Annual Neighborhood Empowerment Network Award for Extraordinary Neighborhood Block Party, the best in San Francisco for 2018. Congratulations to everyone who participated!

We have hosted Movie Nights, an Ice Cream ‘n Swing Dance, History Day, Halloween Carnival, an Easter Egg Hunt, the Concert in the Park music series, fund raisers for schools, and so much more.

 

In 2013, we hosted a huge community party, dubbed Cinco de Noe, to celebrate the five year anniversary of the re-opening of the Rec Center.

We are grateful to all of our local merchants who have contributed so generously to support these events and Upper Noe Rec Center.

All events are  hosted by Friends of Upper Noe Recreation Center and SF Recreation and Parks Department. Events must be free and open to the public. Contribution are possible through raffles and donations.
